Exhaust help?

I just recently totalled my lude. I then bought another one , But my question has to do with the exhaust. I want the put the exhaust on my totalled lude (not any name brand just custon piping) onto my new lude (which is same model). Is it possible to take it off as a whole, (instead of haveing to get a welding macine and cut it off). I know there are the rubber hooks that hold the exhaust in place. Can I just pull the hangers off the hooks, and drop the exhaust down freely? Or is this a job for a professional? Thanks

Just unbolt it from the catalytic converter... unless they welded it to the A-pipe, then you have to unbolt the whole thing at the A-pipe. You can pull the hangers off
