An exhaust that doesn't suck. *pics* Review, later.

Typical stuff, I just wanted to post a photo of the Apexi World sport Cat Back exhaust system, for anybody who wants to see it. I got it today, and I see why it's so quiet compared to the apexi World sport universal muffler.

First it has a HUGE resonator in the line, and Second.. it isn't straight through like the Apexi world sport universal muffler is. Heres the pic:

I'm going at 11:am tomorrow, to have it installed.. I no longer have a torch, so I'm not even going to try and get the 3 bolts off the cat-conv by myself. I'll post back after I get it installed, and take some photos, and videos friday night if possible. ~ Brett

I think you can get the cat conv bolts off. just drive your car around and get em real warm, jack up your car and spray wd40 when they are hot and be careful not to touch directly. wear gloves

They are rusted so bad, theres really no bolt left, its just a .. "pile of rust" .. and the end of the bolt, is a triangle, not a standard 6 sided. i really dunno what to use in this case, lol

It's all good, I'd rather go to a shop, so if the cat is damaged, they are going to be buying me a new one. Not me lol.. My appointment is at 11:am this morning, so I'm gonna put the pieces in my trunk, and drive on ovr.. I hope I dont get pulled over between here and there.. that would be ***.

The only aftermarket exhaust I've ever heard is a Skunk2 on my roommate's h23, and it was the best cat-back I've heard on an N/A 4-cylinder. Anyone have a video of the Apexi?

Dudez, my car is slower then b4, but I had a pretty empty resonator, and a straight through muffler.. so the acceleration is a bit decreased, but it sounds so quiet, all i get is a little grumble from the intake, and people around me look funny haha.. like "I see a shiny can, but where's the sound?" *baffled face here," lol. I still love it
