Exhaust: Apexi or Tanabe?

Well i'm gunna build my bank account up to $2500 then I think I'm gunna start saving for a full exhaust system. I'll get it to $2500 soon so I want to start researching and finding the best exhaust and prices. What do you all think is the best Apexi N1 or Tanabe Medallion? I've heard good things about both but I would like info or personal experiences or just what you've researched to be the best Exhaust System...Help me out guys!!

Thanks!

I've had my Thermal R&D catback exhaust for a few months now and I'm really happy with it.

I'd go with Apex N1 for looks as well as sound. However, I think the Greddy SP sounds a little better. Get whichever one you can find cheaper.

I put on the APEX'i N1 about two weeks ago and so far it has worked great. The sound is awesome. The only problem is that before VTEC it is a little weak, after it is very strong and keeps on pulling.

the n1 is my favorite looking exhaust, but it sounds like ass way to loud imo and the piping hangs low so if you're gonna do a drop you will most likely scrap. Tanabe medallion i dont really like, but i dont know why I love the majority of greddy exhausts so thats what you should get because we both know you cant get the thermal exhaust

I have an Apexi N1 with the silencer, and I love it. Great growl, not loud at all... but since my car was WAAAY dropped when I bought it, it's a little beaten up, so I'm probably just going to buy a new one. Anyone know of the possibility of making like "skid plates" for the underside to protect the exhaust piping?

i just ordered the greddy evolution cat-back (yes its avail. for the 4th gen now, its replaced the greddy pe from what i understand). i should be receiving it sometime next week. but i won't have my car until friday of the same week from the body shop. once i put it on, i will post pictures and feedback on how it sounds. i doubt it will sound any different from the pe, if it sounds any different at all.

Cool man. I just may stick with GReddy then. I don't like the idea that the Apex-i hangs low, I'll be scraping it everytime I leave my house since my driveway is so steep. That's awesome that the EVO is available for the 4th gen now. How much did you pay for it? I think it looks sweet. I guess this means I have it narrowed down to GReddy SP or EVO now.
