ever get screwed by a tuner shop????

Has anyone ever? I am having a bad experience with a shop right now I have given them alot of money in good faith and all that I have gotten in return is alot of lies and a poorly tuned car and now I have bigger problems. It seems that the stock h23 bottom end cannot handle the higher revs of the h22a head. When I asked the same question before I took my car they said that I can safely take it to 8000 rpm's without any problem. But now I have a bad rod knock. So should I hold the tuner shop responsible? Can I hold the tuner shop responsible? What can I do about the money I have invested? Should I just walk away holding my ass cheeks or what?

Did you take any action or just go somewhere else and get it fixed or what. There has got to be some kind of action that people can take to get there money back or something. Hell I just want my car to run right when I pay that kind of money.

file a report with the Better Business Bureau... if the shop doesnt settle with you aftr that, take them to small claims court.

stupid me lost the paper, i will go back to the shop that fix my problem tomorrow and ask for a copy of the paperwork then claim it back, if the shop refuses, i'll just file complain at BBB and tell them that i'll "drop by" whenever i have time to tell his customer how he "fixed up" my car

You probably should have researched h23 w/ a vtec head a little more. If the h22 with a shorter stroke has a redline of 7400 a h23 with a longer stroke shouldn't be reving to 8000.
