Evaporator is dripping, and causing my car to go nuts.

Im hoping someone out there can help me with this problem I have been having. I have only had my prelude for a couple months, but Im hoping someone else has had this problem before.

-The Story-

After a couple months of driving and using the a/c on a daily baisis I started to hear the sounds of water swooshing around when I would take a left turn. After a couple more turns a little bit of water would drip out on to where the passanger's feet are. I thought of this as just an annoyence, and no serious problem. Until, the idle on my car started dropping real low, and the car was barely drivable. I went to an AC shop and the guy told me how the evaporator was clogged up, and he blew out all the water inside of it. Then I took my car into Honda, and they told me the water leaking had messed up my computer, so they reset my computer and it worked fine. Now a month later the water is back, and the car is messing up again. I took it to another AC guy and he told me this is common and he has to unclog his once a month, which doesn't sound feasable, once a month!

-Question-

Does anyone know how I can keep that evaporator from plugging up, and starting to run in my car causing this horrible chain reaction? And is there a way to reset my computer without paying Honda $50 to do it for me?

It's the drain on your evaporator that is clogging up. I think they need to thoroughly clean out the evaporator and drain line. The thing is they'll have to completely disassemble the dash to do it. To reset the ECU disconnect the battery for like 10 minutes.

Water proof your ecu,(some plastic and maby some tape will do the job) or just re route the water, put plastic over the evap unit.
