I wanted to know if it's wroth the money to get a engine damper kit. I have ES motor mount kit already installed. Just wanted to get something for the lude thanks.
I would get the Explicit Speed Performance front traction bar with the motor mount damper. there are a lot of turbo 4th and 5th gens running them and everyone that has one seems to be satisfied. I plan on getting one in the future when I get some other things sorted out on my lude.
well the motor mount has energy suspension in it. so thats why im thinking it vibrate alot. my car isn't for drag also. i have stage one clutch and light flywheel. i dont think that would be the reason.
The damper isn't going to do anything since the engine is already on stiff motor mounts. Dampers help to reduce engine movement with the stock dampers since they allow for more movement. Now that you have stiff mounts, the movement is being transferred to the chassis. The damper wouldn't be dampening anything since the engine is already moving less than with the stock mounts.
