ES Inserts Installed

What is this lack of space everyone was talking about?

I didn't even have to take the throttle body off.

I haven't really driven on them enough to see if i like them or not. I just went around the block. So how does everyone else like theirs?

They're horrible.

Hook the hose back up to your intake or get a catch can.

Hey 4bidden,

The catch can goes on pcv side. All that end needs is to suck air regardless of where it gets it from (hopefully filtered rather than not). As long as that breather breaths all's good, no?
Have you had bad experiences with those cheapo breathers (ya, I'm sure most of us have them, I do)? Curious to know.

Sorry, for digressing from the post topic...

No, on our cars it goes between the valve cover and the intake.

The F22 engines have a ton of more space when installing the rear inserts but lack space in the front. It's the opposite for H22 engines tho...

damn....mine werent red, they were black

but when i installed them, once i hit the gas i was like "wow" and the definately help with the launch. i can even chirp third with the f22b when shifting right before the rev limiter (7k on the tach). But don't plan on using the a/c when its idling. it amazed my friend when i made him sit and watch me rev up....the motor didnt even move.....

Nope - air gets sucked in from the intake to the crankcase. You might get a small amount of oil going the wrong way but not much. I have a breather too because the previous owner capped the nipple and I just examined it after over a year. No oil in it and I could blow through it just fine.

I just put mine in but haven't started my car yet, what with my swap.... I didnt put in the rear mount per Satan_SRV's advice.. should elminate the rough idle and still give me some nice torque releif. Brand new front engine mount from Honda as well .. the old one was ripped.

No...the intake sucks air from the top of the valve cover. Hasn't this been discussed many many times before?
