Ok. First question, will the V6 from the accord coupe bolt into the prelude? I think the fastest lude i've heard of was only like 12 seconds? I wanna break that record, money and labour are no object. I got a friend with a shop, and i can get money when i need it. So, lets say I get an Accord's V6 into it, which can go further, the h23 or the v6? After internals, turbos, yada yada. whats the most powerful/best aftermarket engine i could get into a lude with minimal work? Maybe the s2k mill, or the nsx mill? What do you guys think? And whats the highest HP to come from an h23 so far?
Well first off- correct me if I'm wrong but the new accord v6 are mounted exactly the opposite of all the old hondas. Again I'm not too sure with accords. Which means the intake manifold is near the front of the car and the exhaust manifold is closer to the firewall. And umm this now means the accordv6 "spins" the right way, which is exactly opposite of how honda used to do there engine. So that might pose a few problems. and of course there is the regualar where the hell are you going to get motor mounts, engine management, axles, and everything else working.

isnt the accord engine sohc?....and besides you could keep the h23 and make that faster...there's always a way to make everything go fast.....you basically are gonna spend over $8000 with just parts alone in order for your lude to break into the 11s so good luck.....and it would definitely help if you know what you are doing.....

No.

XES is very close to, if not already, 11's. He did this with the H23 motor fully built, and a big ass turbo. He did his homework though and knows his stuff.
I wanna break that record,
Why?

Money isn't everything, but sure does help. This will take a lot of research, patience, and be willing to learn. You will more than likely need to get your motor sent away to become "bulletproof" which is expensive, and sometimes dangerous. You will need a custom turbo/nitrous setup, because the prefabbed kits won't get your goal.
So, lets say I get an Accord's V6 into it, which can go further, the h23 or the v6?
Tough call, but I am almost certain the V6 will not fit, because the H23 is already tight in there.

None of the above. If you want an S2K motor, get an S2K. It spins clockwise and is designed for RWD. Same with the NSX; it spins in the back of the car.
minimal work? THere is no such thing when dealing with a lude. It sounds like you have stacks of money, and just want to have a fast car. What are your plans with this car? Straight drag car? Daily driver?
What do you guys think? And whats the highest HP to come from an h23 so far? [/B]
I remember hearing as much as 700+hp out of H23, but I can't remember the specifics.
Good Luck. I'm not trying to be overcritical, I just want you to know you are trying to climb a steep mountain

the best motor to put in would be an H22...with the H23 coming in second..the V6 would be worthless, youd spend thousannds trying to get it in, for nothing...stick with the Hseries motors, theres a reason the big honda draggers are using the H22..peace
