Engine Swap help.

Now, I'm new to this whole car thingy. I know somethings... but by no means all. So.. no laughing at a potentially stupid question. xD

Does anyone know if a a 2jz-gte engine would fit into a 4th gen prelude? I've been looking at them and would much prefer that to an h22a seeing as almost everyone is talking about an h22a engine swap and well... i want something very few have. money doesn't matter entirely. I have time to save and very few bills that need to be paid so... anywho. and if it doesn't fit in a fourth gen, would it by chance in a 5th? Any help would be great.

Something tells me it won't because its a 3.0... but ya never know.

the complicated answer is yes? What, a bunch of work would make it possible?

Swap this one in if you want to be unique.

There aren't many Preludes around with that engine, and it should be no more complicated than the H22a swap. However, the downside of that "uniqueness" is that there isn't nearly as much information available to do that swap. Here is the best info I have been able to find about it: JDM H23A Vtec Blue Top Mystery Motor, True Facts, Questions? - Honda-Tech
