Ok here's the gist of whats going on. I just swapped a JDM h22 into a 92 Prelude. Everything is up and running and running great except for the engine serge that I get at idle. I put in a new PCV valve and although that helped, the engine still surges but stops sooner.

I'm def. no pro but I do know that there is a vacuum hose that attach's to the back of the intake manifold that can cause the car to idle up and down and not find a consistent idle speed if not attached. I found out when I installed my torque mount inserts and accidentally knocked it off...it's probably not your problem but hey it's an easy fix if it is.

Aight, i'll check out the hoses in the back in the manifold tomorrow morning.

Anyone else have any ideas as to what could be causing the surging?
