engine questions... again

so if anyone read this thread before i searched and found i was right, so sorry for the extra stupid thread, but should i distrust the engine i'm getting from steve from hmotors.com? how he doesnt' knwo the difference between euro-R and type-R seemingly? what do you guys think on this? i guess i could just say i want the one who's engine code is h22a and not h22a7

dunno what to say about the first problem, but you can sell your second one eBay, I'm sure you'll still get a decent amount for it, especially if you describe it as "perfect for a build project" or something along those lines.

you could always try parting it out, it'd be easier to ship several small pieces, but the block is still quite big. Check around for shipping options later on, people are generally willing to pay for shipping when they bid on engines on eBay. I plan to auction my H23a1 if/when i buy a JDM H22, it'll help towards the cost of the swap

my h22a1 is messed up though..., bad compression in one cylinder... probably due to a slightly bent valve, rough idle as a result, lots of stuff has broken down like alternator, distributor, etc etc...

Still though, like I said, there's always someone out there looking for a cheap engine because they want to replace all the innards with aftermarket performance parts, this would be ideal for them.

I'd say closer to 600, but I'm not too sure if that's high or low.

hey, i need a bottom end
Hows the bottom end buddy?

Actually i only need a crank but i could always use that block and crank and throw my pistons inside.

h22a1, thats open deck huh? Thats kinda ***.
Just tell me what you want for the bottom end.
