Engine Problem Need SOme help

ok i got a 96 prelude h22a1, and this morning i started up my car it ran perfect but when the engine was hot, rpm hits 1000 and below the car dies when i push on the gas pedal. but the wierd part is when it dies its sucks in air and then backfires some white somke out of my intake. so when i checked my intake manifold its had some oil in it and i was wondering what could caused this problem..sorry im still a noob on cars. so i was wonder what could be the problem. any suggestions on whats wrong?

you can say alot cause when i took my throttle body it was covering part of my throttle body and a little inside the intake manifold. does that mean i have a bad seal somewhere?

the H22 likes to such oil through the crankcase ventilation system (into the intake). So I'd say the oil accumulation you describe of experiencing is not out of the ordinary. I don't know enough to walk you through what's going on otherwise. Until someone else chimes in here, I'd start searching any and all search terms that might seem to be appropriate and start reading threads that might contain helpful information.

oh ok, but i was wondering about the car dying when i step on the gas pedal..but this only happens when the engine is warmed up.(also only happens when the rpm is sitting at 1000 rpms.)so what could cause it to die like that??
