ya, i'll post up the results after the o2 sensor swap.. if that doens't work i'm gonna ram my head into the wall and try something else.
well i'm not sure if this is of interest to anyone, but i thought i would post my conversation with the honda service manger when i called in.
me: hi i dropped off my car this morning to have u guys check out the engine light and i wanted to check the status of it.
him: hold on, let me get the mechanic
**now at this point i don't know if i'm talking to the mechanic or the service manger, they sound the same**
him: yea, we couldn't get the check engine light to come on..
me: uh.. u want me to go over and set it off for u?
him: uh, how do u set off the light..
me: u just hit vtec in first and second and it'll come on
him: vtec? is that a button?
me: .....
and it just went down hill from there..
