I have been dealing with this problem for a while now. I thought it was the vafc tuning, but I reset everything to zero and the engine light still comes on.
Code 43 says that it could be running lean or it's and O2 sensor heating problem (bad O2)? Anyway, before I go buying another O2 sensor, can I run lean with a bad O2?
Also, I have noticed my idle is real weird, can figure out what the hell the deal is with that, but does this have anything to do with running lean/bad O2 sensor?
Thanks guys!

PS- Can someone confirm this code?
Edit: Also, is there a differance between the H23 O2 sensor and the H22 O2 sensor?

Mine started throwng that after I dropped in my H23 VTEC. It did not do that before the motor blew. Also, my a/f gauge shows the O2 sensor is reading very lean all the time.
Code 43 is Fuel System, which is supposed to be if the car is running overly rich or lean and it's more than the computer will compensate for. If your O2 sensor goes bad, the reading is offset so much the computer can't compensate enough and it will throw this code.
Some people over on H-T have also said the fuel filter may cause this code to be thrown. I will be replacing my fuel filter soon, and hopefully it's just that and I'm not actually running that lean!

Who needs VTEC when ya got torque? Well I got both!
One time the wiring for my o2 was so long that it was rubbing on the halfshaft and eventually it wore through and started chewing up the wire and the car started reading full lean on my AF gauge and idling really weird.
