Engine Check Light!!!

well the last time i posted a topic, it was about the engine check light that keeps on commin on when driving for about 5 -6 minutes. i thought it was the swap, but found out it was code "43" it has something to do with the fuel. im thinkin its the fuel pump, because sometimes when driving it, and come to a stop light and pull it out of gear the idle drop below 500 rpm, then the car starts to shake like its gonna stall but then it fires up again then it drops again and it does that for about 4-5 times, then the light turns green! Im just cerious on what all of you guys think!! any suggestions of what it might be, im thinking its the "fuel pump" my brother thinks its the "fuel pressure", im also thinkin its the "injectors".....im lost please help...!!!

My car does a similar thing, when I pull up to a light or let the engine revs come down the the norm 500 rpm range, sometimes it'll idle down to like 200, then kick back up and its fine.

mine does that idle thing when its hot too. so i deem it normal.

as for code 43 "something to do with fuel" i would actually find out and get the facts instead of assuming what it could be.

From a Honda service manual Code 43 is either a problem with the fuel system or Heated Oxygen Circuit (HO2S)

Goto http://www.icelord.net/honda/repair/...th%20codes.pdf where you will find a walkthrough trouble shooter for code 43

test the fuel presure. you can get a gauge at napa for like $30. when was the last time you changed your fuel filter, if it has been over 30,000 miles you need to.

check the presure first
