I am looking at getting an H22 for my Prelude. This is the info that I have found so far.

Supplier, Price on H22, Notes, Warranty, Shipping, additional notes.

*Import auto salvage, $1800.00, engine w/ ECU, NA, NA, NA
*H Motors Online, 1200.00, engine only, NA, NA, NA
*Sohfast, 2000.00, engine only, NA, NA, NA
*Luck start (star?), 3200.00, complete (engine tranny ecu), NA, NA, NA
*Go motors, 1700.00, engine only, NA, NA, only engine no extras
*Nippon Motors, 1150.00, engine only, 6months, 200.00 shipping, comes with an intake, exhaust manifold, fuel injection, alternator, distributor, usually partial wire harnesses that are cut near the engine, oil pan, valve cover, pulleys,
*Rising sun, 1995.00, engine w/ ECU, NA, NA, NA
*Parsa Trading, 1850.00, engine only, 6months unlimited, shipping included, NA
*Osaka Motors, 1100.00, engine only, start up, 220.00 shipping
*Evans Used Honda, 2500.00, complete swap, NA, NA, NA

I think I will go with Nippon motors. I am still trying to find out some more info on the other companies. What is everyone advice on these companies? Any experience with companies?

Hope this helps someone else out.
Mick

From what I have read, the best is importautosalvage, followed by hmotorsonline.
Importautosalvage gets an A+, while hmotorsonline gets a A.

anyway don't take my word for it, read more here

I noticed your in VA. I live in WV and just bought an H22a engine package a couple of weeks ago. I got it from Noyan USA, Inc. in Manassas, VA. I think web address is "noyanusa.com". I wasn't totally impressed with the cleanliness of the engine (external), but so far everything seems to be working ok. They have a 30 day unlimited mileage warranty and were easy to deal with. Shipping was much cheaper than hmotors (since closer) and I had it the next day. I paid $2400 plus $70 shipping for JDM H22a, tranny, and ECU. Supposedly less than 45K miles. The internals were clean and it runs pretty smooth. Hope this helps.

asapmotors.com sucks ass. dont buy from them.

cliffs notes: screwed me over, took 8 months to get my engine, and when I got it, it was damaged and they would do anything about it.

i bought a spare engine from hondamotorsonline and it cam with all the parts listed that nippon has. I would recommend them. I took a while to get my engine though (two weeks to include shipping from cali to wisconsin) Engine was recieved in outstanding condition.
