Endless 4 pot calipers 4 the 4G

Hey, was cruising through Endless' website when I saw that they actually offer a big-brake upgrade for the 4th gen, including nice big calipers. It says it's offered for the "Si VTEC", I'm guessing they just mean the VTEC, since the two have different size rotors/calipers (right?) If that's the case, since there was a thread recently about converting to VTEC brakes in the front on an Si, can I assume that it'd be just as easy to put a set of these bad boys on an Si?

here's the link, considering that it's Endless, the price isn't too bad.

i think you can use it with teh s and SI, cause you got different size rotor with it anyhow.

yeah, I was wondering about that, isn't the rotor size the only difference between the si and vtec?

well no, the calipers are bigger too. But, they mount up in the exact same place. So anything that bolts right up on a VTEC will bolt right up on a Si so long as the rotors are included/upgraded.

wow... I would love to have those brakes but could never justify the money. They look supa-dupa hot though.

to answer your question, yea, it would prob fit. you would stop CRAZY fast, dont need any other brake upgrades for that monster kit. only prob is thats its WAYY to much money for just braking. the legend calipers are more cost effective and easier on ur wallet. and you would prob need some high offset 17+ rims to clear the huge calipers. but its called mini, so im not sure about that.

It says it's offered for the "Si VTEC", I'm guessing they just mean the VTEC
the 1993 prelude is called Si VTEC, and the 1994-96 preludes, they took off the si, so its just VTEC. get it? 1993 prelude's with VTEC are called Prelude Si VTEC, and 1994-96 preludes with VTEC are called Prelude VTEC.

so when it said Si VTEC, it had nothing to do with a prelude si, thats just how they called a prelude VTEC for the 1993 models.

and when u look at the application guide, it says prelude si vtec 1993-1996. when you see, the prelude starting at 1993, it usually means its for vtec cuz thats the first year the prelude vtec was available here while the 4th gen preludes started in 1992. so theres another trick

yeah, I remember the 93s, so when I saw it on Endless' site I figured they meant that, but for the people not as clever as you my friend, I think they'd be better off saying it's for "93-96 VTEC" Thanks for the info though, I just pm'd you.
