Emblem removal...??

When I purchased my car there was a dealership emblem on it, it looks like they used some sort of double-sided tape to attatch it. My question is, how do I remove this without damaging the paint finish at all? I really think it looks ghetto, but I think a big scratch or discoloration from a solvent would look even more ghetto. Any help???

Get some dental floss. Break a nice long strand off and firmly wrap it around your two index fingers. Then put the floss behind the emblem and work your way through the adhesive on the rear until the dental floss cuts through it all. If you have trouble point a hairdryer at the emblem for a bit so that the adhesive heats up and looses its stick.

Very easy stuff... have fun

He is removing an emblem added by a dealer. Dealers mount those with just adhesive, no plugs. Only the stock honda emblems use holes to mount.
