I bought a carbon fiber one for my car too and it didn't fit. But instead of drilling bigger holes in my trunk I just grinded off the little pegs on the emblem. The 3M backing is more then sticky enough to hold it on.

Yeah i have done tis for several people, that double sided tape sticks very well just make use you measure and put a peice a tape down for a guide or something of the sorts that way you dont get a crooked emblem..

I agree. Why drill your car?

Or you can take a dremel and shave the pegs so they fit.

The front emblem is bigger than the back.....I had this problem.....why would you drill the holes bigger??? Just cut off the prongs and sand them down, I'd rather do that than tae a drill to my car.
