Emblem decision

I just got my car out of the body shop and they didn't shave my emblem on my new bumper (like I wanted) so I need to get one. I was thinking of just getting the OEM emblem but a few people have mentioned getting a CF "H" emblem to match the CF hood and black JDM's. What do you think? Ricey?

OEM. It's clean, simple, and you can never go wrong with it. CF emblem is really up to you. It would look ok too, but realize that many "thieves" like aftermarket items like that. They wouldn't think about getting an OEM emblem because those are plentiful. CF emblems and colored emblems are what "thieves" like to get their hands on.

Let's say theft is not an issue for this discussion.

You know what bro, my 4th gen is Eucalptus too. Yours looks sharp, and I really agree with the carbon fiber emblem. I think it'll be one of those accenting touches.

Just stay away from those indiglo emblems (its for hardcore ricers). You've been warned.

BTW, do you think you car is blue in color? Or green???

TIMEOUT!

I have the same color for my 1992 Prelude Si 4WS and is the color Eucalyptus Green or Brittany Blue-Green? I consider my car green though.

See, that drives me nuts. I'd like to believe that the "Eucalyptus" color is blue. I've learned to accept the fact that I drive a green lude that's only blue when it wants to be...

The Eucalyptus is a tree, I've never seen a tree with blue leaves...

I know we're getting off topic, but this has to be cleared up. The color of our cars is listed as Eucalyptus by Honda. Its a fairly rare color, especially when compared to the number of white, red, and black Preludes running around.

It can be difficult to tell what color it is, but its overwhelming green. I'd describe it as a greenish-blue more than a bluish-green. Its effect is awesome however.

I like 4WS's carbon-fiber hood, and your JDM headlights.Does anyone else have tan leather and a car phone in their Eucalyptus colored 4th gen?

(sorry about wasting your thread space, I'll start a new one soon).

I'd normally raise the cheese flag on a C/F Emblem, but I think t would look good on your car with the hood, and the car itself is a fairly dark color so the c/f in the emblem wouldn't stick out so much. I voted C/F emblem.

It is not Eucalyptusm it's Brittney Blue-Green Metallic. I know that the 5th Gen green color is Eucalyptus green, but in 92, there was no such thing. All 4th Gens that are blue-ish green are either: A) Brittney Blue-Green, Azure Blue-Green, or the Forest Green for the 95 SE. I also found evidence of a Geneva Green Pearl as well as a Sherwood Green Pearl, although, I've never heard or seen of those colors.

Green.

After having the car recently painted I can say that according to the color code the car is Brittany Blue Green Metallic according to the PPG paint system and the touch up paint I bought.

You two may be right, the Honda dealership I get my service at labelled it as Eucalpytus. Maybe referring to the newer model.

Ok. Phew. I knew it was Brittany Blue Green. Anyways, I did vote OEM originally but I guess I was considering it on my car. LOL I don't have a CF hood so therefore it would look cheesy, but since you have one. Go for it!
