Electroluminesent guage swap question . . .already checked FAQ

Was there a model with the Electro gauges and the 4WS? Or does the electro cluster have the light stock even though the car might not have the 4WS system. The 4WS gauge cluster in my car has a place for the 4WS indicator lamp. I want to buy an electro cluster but I fear I might have some type of problem with the 4WS warning lamp.

I think all the 94+ cars had the fluorescent lights.

if you dont get one with the indicator.. you can always just turn the wheel and look at the rear tires.. if there was any problem the whole thing would not work, and the rear tires would lock up straight....

You could find a 94 4ws gauge, or you could take the 4ws indicator off your old gauge cluster and put it on the dash board with all the other lights, there is a bunch of empty ones.

That would be hard since the light is smaller then those lights.

I guess anyone with a 94 Si could tell me if the 4WS light is on there like this:

It is the top right hand amber light.

I konw it's an auto gauge, but this is the only image I could find.

As far as I know, an electro-4ws cluster does not exist unless you want kph instead of mph. Ive looked high and low for an electro-4ws cluster...

hey man you can just have your own indicator light on the dash, like an LED for example... thats all thats behind that yellow piece...
if you take the cluster apart and run the wires out of it, or just get the wire diagram from a helm you can make it yourself...

I looked a long time for a JDM 4WS VTEC electro gauge, but to no avail.... Guess i'll just keep burying the needle 2500 rpms into the red when I shift
