Electro Guage Conversion

Just wondering if anyone out there has done this, I'm converting my 93 to these, I have all the wiring harnesses for both guage pods plus I have the box that comes with the electro guages. I took it apart and it appears you would have to do some wire splicing and such. Not sure if the wires are color coded or would I need to get wiring diagrams for both cars? Any insight would be much appreciated. Thanks

no you do not have to do any splicing you have to take the dash out and put in the other dash wireing harness it unplugs on both side doing this swap to my car right now but i do not have the box that powers the tac if you know where i can get one let me know

i just got finisheddoin the swap in my car...i have a 92...its pretty simple if u have the wire harness

1..take out all guages
2..pull out the whole wire harness(runs down to the fuse box)pull the blue plug on the fuse box and there is 2 more plugs to pull but they arent on the fuse box
3...then just put in the new harness and everything shud plug right in...

the whole job took me about 2 hours...people make it out to be harder than it actually is

no, it doesnt. when you turn off your car, you can still see your tach/speedo, the 94-96 cant. the numbers and "tic" marks are electro, just like the gas/temp. THeres still a needle, just the numbers and tic marks are electro...... I dont see the big hype in the swap myself, but thats just me... Maybe if it were a FULL electro tach like the s2000 (no needle), but its not.

$$$

How much does this mod cost? Seems like a pretty neat mod if it doesn't cost a ridiculous amount.

I have two SI electro gauge sets, 150$ each, used, redline is 6500 but will work fine with H22 powered lude, pulled from 94 and 95 si preludes, US models (mph), email me if you need one
