Electro Gauge Swap Question

HI, I just installed the 94-96 SI Electroluminecent Gauge Cluster (Harness included) into my 94 S but i after i turn on the headlights the whole cluster dims, even after i click the dimmer switch fully upwards, (only the temp/fuel display lights up).

Does anyone know what can be done in order for the speedometer/tachometer to remain fully lit after i turn on the headlights, as it's supposed to be???

thanks,
Humberto

In the Si the spedo and tach arent supposed to brighten up when you click the dimmer switch up. They are always dim, at least in my car.

Welcome to po.com

This topic has been beating to death, so I will advice you to get used to the search function.
Anyway, the problem you are having is with the brightness controller. Are you using the stock one or did you get the one that came with the El gauge?

If you did not get the one that came with the El gauge, then you will have to rewire the stock brightness controller to make it work.

pm sil96prelude for more details
