Electrical problem

I'm on my 4th battery within 2-3 months. It started with my first h22. Check with the alt. The alt is still new. One day snapped a timing belt. So i ordered, a jdm h22. My car still draining power from the battery. i dont know the reason. Check the jdm alt, thats still good too! First i thought it was the cd player/head unit. because it doesnt turn off when my car is off. So i took the fuse out for few weeks, no music sucks for few weeks. Still draining power. Then people say why my fan kicks on after my car shuts. i told him, my friend preludes fan turns on after its off. so did my last two 4th gens i had, fan kicked on after shut down from a drive. I dont believe its the problem for draining the battery though. Any advice would greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance,
lynn lee

Do you have any non-factory installed electrical accessories in your car? Does everything (like the wipers and windows) still work when the car is turned off, or just the radio?

I wonder.... What if your ignition/key switch was bad? What if when you take your key out, the switch itself is still in "ACC" mode?

Have you tried looking into that?

^That's what I was getting at when I asked if the wipers and windows still worked with the car off.

That's what it seems like to me... Seems like your ignition switch is still in accessory mode when you turn your key to the off position.

Do you have a voltage meter? I can point you in the right direction in finding out if it is a faulty ignition switch.
