i hear a humming sound too. i just realized it when i am not driving and just have the car turned on without any sound system on... the humming comes on and then goes off... seems like its coming from the driver side console area... all other electrical devices are off too... even headlights... i'm not sure what it exactly is.

You sure it's not just the cooling fan running? Every now and then it will turn on to keep the temp in check.

that beeping noise when you open the door is normal. every car has those. the reason it does that is because your keys are still in the steering colum. its a safty feature (so you dont lock your keys in your car)

the ignition thing is a really easy fix..

ok get some white lightening spray lubricant with the red hose thing. Spray it into where the key goes and put the key and out a few times. i did this and havent had the problem since. Dont put a lot very small amount.

Re: the ignition thing is a really easy fix..

Nice, for some reason I never thought of that! I always just jab the tumbler until it turns off. Now more of that now. Thanks for the fix errorr, your car looks so dumped!
