electric problem

my battery keeps dying on me every morning...i know i have a short somewhere because this all happened after i installed my folding mirrors...my problem was that when i hooked up the mirrors the fuse blew but it blew so bad that the spot in the fuse box where the 15a fuse goes got destroyed...so being i didnt have any power from the r/c mirror #9 fuse i spliced a power sorce from my drivers window to the mirrors and fixed it...after i blew out fuse #9 my ABS light came on...if #9 is r/c mirror why does my ABS light go on when i take out the fuse? is there a way i could of blew out the fuse box and the metal wires got crossed with one of the ABS wires? that is the only thing i can think of...sorry so long but i am tring to explain in detail so you can get an idea of my problem...TIA

The ABS light is on because fuse #9 is one of the power supplies for the ABS Control Unit.

Other circuits it powers are: Heater Control Panel, Power Mirror System, ABS Control Unit, Fan Timer Unit, Mode/Recirculate Control Motor and Heated Mirrors (Canada)..
