gee thanks for the help...i did search but 99% of the threads dealt with EL gauge swaps and those sorta things...im not trying to swap gauges or anything as i already have the EL gauges in my 95 VTEC...i just need to kno which wire to tap to get a signal from the speedo/MPH reading....

The answer is CLEARLY in all those posts. I'm just tired of people not doing ANY work in trying to find thier own answers.

I can ASSURE you that searching what I said will give you exactly what you want. Hell, it's even in a post I made.. since I created the EL gauge swap write up.

Searching = win.

thanks i found it...it was in the faq...im not a newb so i always search before posting.....since u do kno which wire i needed and considering all the time u put in typing these replies, wouldnt it have been easier to simply say "pink wire"?? it didnt require a deep explanation or anything....

Yea I could have easily said what it was, but I prefer to try and have people look for thier own answers... you learn more that way because you get to read through stuff and you may end up learning some useful information.

But what really bothers me is when people say "I need this answer, I already searched and didn't find anything".. when I know 100% that the answer is easily found with a one or two word search. It means they gave 0 effort into it, and therefore don't deserve to be given the answer.. at least not until they try.

like i said, i did search and out of all the threads, only 1 of them had the answer i was looking for....its not like this is a gigantic forum with lots of newbs that keep asking the same questions over and over where u'd get tired of answering it....matter of fact i dont even think ive seen anyone else ever ask the same question i asked, hence i didnt find my answer right away....but all i kno is if i knew the answer i wouldve simply said "its the pink wire" and save someone an hour or so of reading thru a bunch of stuff thats irrelevant...

When you've been here as long as I have... yes that is how I see the forum. I've seen it all asked a million times over, and answered just as many times, so I know the answers are all there.
