EL guages, finally...did you know theyre adjustable?

well, mine was having small probs, first the tach needle was jumping around, i fixed that...but then i noticed that when i was driving, if i accelerated to like 3 rand the tach would read 5 grand...it was way off..i was like damnit, my stepdad and i noticed these 2 little plugs on the back side of the cluster near the tach needle...well, if you turn the top one, it moves where the needle reads, so i pulled the cluster, but left it hooked up, turned on the car and let it run, then held the rpms at 4 grand, and turned this adjustment until the tach needle matched my autometer and VAFC, kinds weird, but also kinda cool, means i can make my tach pretty accurate....ill let you know how it works out, im about to drive to work and test it out, yesterday i pushed it, and when i was at like 6k, my stock tach was sweeping past 8 grand, lol...just thought this might be useful info for you guys...looking at my 92-93 tach, i didnt see any adjusters whatsoever on it, oh well..peace

Hey,

Anyone have any idea what the lower adjuster screw does? There are also two adjustment screws on top of the cluster on the speedo side. Any ideas what these do (presumably adjust the speedo).

I think it would be great to get these stock gages hyper-accurate.

i just finished making the guages more blue with that film, and when i was done i started it up just to check the needles and didnt check the speedo but the tach jumped straight up to 4000 rpms, so somethings off....i'll look for those adjustable screws, but my problem is I dont have another tach to match it....anyone have any ideas?
