EGR system requires replacing

Hello my honda prelude homis,
i need help. Took my 4th generation Vtir prelude for a service 2day, everything was fine except i was told that i need 2 replace my EGR sensor. The diagnostic found a warning code, P1491.. It will cost me $460 dollars for the part and round about $150 for labour. Do u guys recken i should replace the EGR sensor ASAP or can i wait abit untill i can generate more cash since im a uni student. I only require the car for daily driving no racing. Except for the occasional thrill of a sharp corner:

thanks heaps guys

Check this out: Code: P1491
Try to go through the troubleshot, it's much cheaper than replacing the EGR, actually, it's free
The EGR valve isn't that important, but you should always fix something that's "broken"

I meant that you should go through the troubleshoot from the manual in the link I provided.
The most probable cause for this error is that the EGR valve needs cleaning, or you have a vacuum leak.
