I've done searches, and everything but still not sure whats wrong.
I did the egr blockoff plate, all good ther, but I still seem to get CEL for EGR, at middle throttle. Almost always when im driving.... Sensor is plugged in. I also cleaned the EGR before I put it back on.
When I had this it was due to a vacuum hose being connected to the wrong pipe after my engine swap. Check all the numbers (on the pipes) and make sure they correspond
My idle, seems to dip sometimes, when I come up to a light and stick it in neutral, it hits 600 then goes to about 200, then back up to 600. Other then that its fine.
OBD1 only checks for EGR valve lift, not flow, so its possible that the EGR on your car is faulty... Have you tried testing it out of the car with a vacuum pump?
ha ha I have the same exact problem, anytime I drop in the 2000 rpm range, I get the code, so I just bought a new one, and I still get the code. very frustrating.

Reviving this thread as I still have not fixed the problem, I have done some reading, and it may be the egr control solenoid, which is located on the drivers side, right near the fender.
Yep, that's what caused my code 12. I changed the valve and that didn't work. So I bought the whole EGR control module. It's located about the power steering resevior and cruise control. I haven't had an engine code trip since.
