Effects of Lowering

When I lowered my car with Pro-kits, my tie rods look more like
\ / than _ _ . Obviously not that much but they aren't parallel to the ground by any means. I was wondering if this is bad?

Thanks
Grant

Did you use a camber kit to correct the negative camber produced by lowering?

I had prokits in my old integra and my camber wasn't off by much. I didn't really notice much tire wear in the front. I would suggest a camber kit though.

I have a front camber kit. I'm not asking about that though. Camber kits do not adjust ur tie rod position. My tie rods are angled towards the ground more than usual.

[]\ /[] instead of []-- --[]

(brackets are supposed to be wheels and bars are tie rods)

ive got a sportline drop with koni adjustables. i had my front camber kits on and everything was cool[put my front ones on before i noticed the co. had sent me rear kits for the damn accords]. okc has some crappy roads, and i nailed a lot of raised up concrete and other sh!t while driving around. in early november i got new front tires cause mine that i had put on in april were shot. 3 weeks later, the 2 tires i spent $260 on were WASTED. why? because of the front tie rods. they were FOCKED.

jack your car up. grab the whole wheel with one hand on each side, one at 9oclock and one at 3oclock. see if it wiggles back and forth. [you shouldnt have to apply much force] if it does, GO BUY NEW TIE RODS NOW! dont get screwed like me and have to have a shop do them for you. [i couldnt drive my car back to my place to do the tie rod replacement and got phocked over with labor costs and all that *#&(]

i have video of what happened with that whole. if you want, message me on aim at exclusive2OSU and ill get the video up today

It should be fine, everything is designed to move as far as the stock shocks allow the suspension components to travel.

Tie rods do go bad, I had to change all of them on my car, including the upper ball joints and lets not forget about Inner tie rods. It's advised to change the inner tie rods also when you change the outer tie rods. I've had all the ball joints and tie rods replaced in the front, this made the front end very responsive and much more solid when driving.
