EEkkk! Finished Swap! problem...

I just finished my swap and was installing the jdm p13 ecu when i noticed that the plugs on the ecu are different....is it supposed to be like that? and...is my ECU an automatic ECU? the serial on it is :

37820-P13-J50
556 J-AT <---- is that Automatic? my ecu has something
similar but it says MT.....

what would happen if i ran my car with my USDM H23A ECU until i got a new ecu?

just plug it in and see what happens. the other plug could be the 4ws plug or whatever.

if all else fails, yes you can run with the p14 until you get a p13 in there.

The 4WS system is NOT controlled by the ECU.

There isn't any 4WS connectors on the ECU.

The 4WS is controlled by its own computer in the trunk.

An AT ECU will not work on a MT car.

I think that answers your questions about 4WS.

And yes, you can use your Si (P14) ECU in the meantime, you just wont have VTEC.

My JDM h22 came with an automatic ecu, a friend of mine converted it to a manual ecu. Only took him about an hour, he also installed a spoon chip. You can run the car with your p14, but the fuel/ignition more than likely differs from the p13 ecu, so I would not run the car hard, wouldn't want to break anything. There are obd-1 p13 ecu's on eBay all the time, may want to check there. You could probably sell your AT p13 on ebay to help pay for the new one... just a thought.
