whats the difference between H22a1 ECU and h23 ecu?

To look at....not very much.

Its the ROM inside thats different.

The H23 is a completely different engine, no vtec, different settings etc

well i got a ghetto spoon chip for a h22 but i have an H23 ecu and wanted to know what would happen?

You would probably run rich when vtec is supposed to kick in, and maybe get a CEL. Don't know if the extra fuel will hurt or benefit performance though....

don't put it in...you will most likely fry your ecu! or f*@k up your engine!
