Ecu problem?

i have a 94 prelude si, this car was an auto swap to manual when i bought it but i have some problems with it. i was thinking that it might be the ecu but not sure. so heres the problem.. the car would some time rev and not pick up speed when i step on the gas and the clutch acts weird this only happens when i leave the car idle for a while other than that it drives fine. another problem is that if i drive over 70mph or rev it too high the check engine light would go on. is it the ecu? i am not sure if the previous owner switch the ecu to manual when he swaped the car to manual. plz help me out

oh another problem is the car sometimes revs at idle and sometimes it will drop from 1000rpm to around 600rpm , the car would start shaking like its about to stall but after stepping on the gas would fix it at times. sry for the double post

This is probably 99% not an ecu problem. You do have a manual p14 right?

^yes actually it will, you will probably get codes though because the ecu doesn't detect an auto

A clutch wouldn't affect the rev's at idle.

just a thought , could the revving problem be caused by the clutch and slave matser cylinder? becuz when i leave the car idle for a while the clutch starts to pump up higher and higher to the point i just need to tap it to switch gears. but when i drive it in 5th gear it will sometimes fix the problem.
