Ecu help!

im having a wierd problem with my 1993 lude

i had a h23a swapped into it (yes the NON vtec h23a NOT the blue top vtec version) and i have 2 ecus..

the p14-a10 --- (1 1992 ecu i had from a previous lude)
and the p14-a11 --- (the 1993 original ecu)

the 1993 ecu throws code 23 for the knock sensor and the 1992 ecu throws code 9 for cyl. position sensor

i thought it was pretty strange that 2 of the same ecu's would return 2 different codes? any ideas???

according to this forum post The definitive Prelude ECU choice / Hondata Info Post - Honda-Tech it says a ls integras ecu will work with my h23 and will bypass the knock sensor.. can any one confirm this please and would it work good?

BTW:

the 1992 ecu runs decent but has a slight throttle delay and KILLS GAS VERY BAD

and the 1993 ecu runs PERFECT untill i hit 5500 rpms and then the CEL comes on with the code... then it runs like poo... missfiring, eating gas, extreme los of power.....PLEASE HELP

thank you

Possibly the problem lies in your knock sensor and your cylinder position sensor, and not in the ecu's.

well i replaced the knock sensor and i still get the code and i was thinking that maybe it was the wiring BUT then why would the other ecu throw a completely different code instead of the same one????. one thing i was thinking was to replace the dizzy and see if the 1992 ecu will work then.
