ECT Switch B?

Ok I have this problem, well I think it is a problem. Last year when I did my swap h23 - jdm h22, I forgot to move over the switch that is on the front left of the head, I believe it is the ECT Switch B...

My problem is my fans will run for so long after I turn the car off that it will kill my battery after 3-4 times of doing it. Hell even if my car hadn't been on for a day, and I turn it on for 2 seconds and turn it off, they will run for 7 minutes after..

Is that what that switch is for? Or is that normal operation for the fans and I have a ****ty alternator that isn't charging my battery fully? BTW, new battery.

Thanks guys/gals,
Chad

I know what it stands for, but is it what is causing my fan issues?

Could be, do you have the old engine? You could also order it online. The ECU expects to be there so its possible its the problem...

Well I dunno.. why would the JDM engine not come with something the JDM ecu thinks should be there?

Also I sold my h23 before I realized...

Do you have a JDM ECU or USDM ECU? I know the USDM ECU's expect it to be there.
