A turbo isn't something you want to half ass. Spend the money on quality components and get everything installed by someone competent.

i actually have a friend who bought a cheap turbo on e bay for his civic si two years ago and finally blew it a couple months ago. but still i would not recommend it.

Only turbos bought from eBay suffer from lag.

Lol yea i know i hear bout them blowin up all the time haha. I jus wanted to see who HAS bought one lol. I wasnt planning on buying anything forced induction on egay lol. Im planning on buying a turbo kit from Treadstone performance.com for my h23. Has anyone bought anything from there?

eBay turbos are a hit and miss affair (more often miss than hit). Some people can run them for a long time, sometimes they're junk in 100 miles. It also depends on the turbo you buy. Most are cheap china made trash which is what you find in a kit about 99% of the time.
