ebay scam - AEM CAI

the one in the picture just doesn't look like AEM to me in anyway, the pipe looks too short, the filter's not right, the couplers are blue.... the whole thing just looks like a cheap intake

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1871831552

correct me if i am wrong, cause i think this is a scam

you must live on EBay, looks pretty right to me, the filters change all the time, some have a chrome top, others the recessed top so i donno, looks like a AEM with the bottem pipe missing

Not true. Earliest AEM CAI was two piece.

Anyways it could be just a standard pic, and not they 'actual' intake

if its an aem, thats a short ram intake in the picture. thats the same color they have for the red. so it looks real. my cai came with a k&n filter though.

this is what my aem cold air intake looks like:

Why don't you just e-mail the guy and ask him if it's the actual pic, where the carb stickers are blah blah blah? Jimminy Jillickers!

i also dont think it is real. I have a red one and (unless the picture did this) red looks nothing like that. Secondly, he never took the backing tape off the AEM decal that is on the pipe when he took the pic.
