Well I hear you, it takes up space, it's useless once the auction ends, yet the thread remains. Also, if someone else is bidding and I post here, then that person has potential competitors if he or she did not before. On the other hand though, not a lot of people spend endless hours like myself on eBay; not a lot of people have the time to look for something, even if they need it for their car; if a person has a few minutes to check PO and new posts, then this way they have a chance to catch something they may need, and Helms are becoming quite the commodity. What are some solutions? If one thread were started called "Ebay Watch List", and it was constantly added too, it would be probably more efficient and Mega Byte-minded them making a new thread every time a good auction is spotted. I can't think of any other way given the current setup of this message board system. Of course you're probably thinking "oh f@#%ing well, just don't post", but then I did also pay to be a member, and I'd like to help, and ultimately, you don't HAVE to view this thread, or even respond to it. The same urge that prompted you to respond to this thread is one and the same as the one that prompted me to start it in the first place: we both want to contribute. Of course when the all mighty moderator speaks, then the law has been laid down ... what say they about this?
