ebay camber kit

Yes,I went for the cheap kind because money is not somthing I got alot of,lol. I bought a camber kit from ebay ( I think its ESR performance). It is not the ball joint kind, its the upper arm. I just had one question for people that have this style. Does the thread bolt, that bolts into the hood suppost to move freely up and down. The nut locks at the top, but I am not aware are have enough experience with camber correction to know if the top mounting bolt is suppost to move up and down, are remain stationary. Please help, anything will help. Thanks again

I hate these camber kits. That bolt, if it's what I'm thinking of, should not move, and should remain stationary. You may have to grind down the outer part of the control arm to keep it from hitting your inner fender though. The worst part of those stupid kits is that if you hit a hard enough bump, your camber is knocked right out of spec again. Had one of those on my accord for about a week and then I switched to ball joints

Do you think its possible to maybe weld or tack this bolt at the bottom so the bolt does not move?

That's a possibility, although I don't know if you can weld whatever those two metals are together
