honestly, for the price of jdms, i would lean towards jdm.

yeah its used, yeah you need to re-wire some stuff but i like them better.

you can refinish jdms pretty easily (theres a writeup on here) and bam, new headlights. i would only get these to try a retrofit, if i mess up, i will still have some real jdms to back to

I'm thinking about buying these. but i don't know if you have to change any wirering or not? and also wheather they are worth buying. because usually i see projector head lights for about 200+ but these are 117+48 for shipping.

^ Those look like a 2 piece design and they probably use the same bulbs as the stock lights like the JDM wannabe lights

Those would scare me. They look like a 2 piece to me also which means everything would have to line up to look right. Chances of that are slim. Just a little more money would buy 1 piece true JDM'S, the only way to go!

Hmm, now put that projector in the wannabe JDM 1 piece, and they have a deal

Has anyone else given these a shot yet? I'm sitting on the idea of getting a set for a retrofit.

Eh, they're pretty deep. I'd just assume get another set or get the cheap headlights, since I'll be resealing them. Plus, everyone has the JDM headlights.

Do you have a picture you can post? I'd really like to see them on Prelude, aside from that white one.

Chromes go for almost nothing. I picked up my JDM blacks for $135 b/c of the nick on the side. I guess I'll **** around with these first, in case I mess up.

I have the ebay one peices with the orange corner after some guyin a n f-150 decided to run into me...I ordered the clear corner, but I got orange....

they actually look really good with side markers and the orange turn signals, light output it a lot better than my JDMs were. I like them!

Give me OEM or give me death!

No seriously though they don't look bad, but they don't look as good as jdm imo. As long as you reseal them yourself, I am sure they will be fine. I mean plastic is plastic right?

As for the light output mentioned above. You must not have redone your jdm's. Mine are crystal clear and I can't imagine getting any better light out headlights...

I'm usually all about OEM, but since I'm retrofitting, I don't have the same feelings toward them.

My JDMs had awesome light output and were far superior over the stock USDM housings. My clearcoat never had any problems and they never yellowed out. I guess it differs with everyone. I've heard it both ways.
