Dyno tuning and v-afc
YEs I know there is this same exact thread... I did do a search, but that thread got all sidetracked!
First some info:
1994 Honda PRelude VTEC
Mods:I/H/E Pullies, High-flow cat
APexi V-afc is the unit being tuned
The shop I am taking it to has JUST recieved its dyno, and yes it has a wideband O2. I know that I will be the first V-AFC tune session on that dyno,, and have managed to work out a better deal on the tuning because i am kinda of a guinea pig.
NOw some questions:
First of all how exactly is the WIdeband o2 hooked up?? Where do they connect it to on my car?? Does it go in place of my stock O2 sensor??? so they would remove my o2 senor install on of theirs and rehook it up to my car and I guess it would have some extra wiring to allow them to hook it up to the dyno??? How does this part work??
Secondly, I have looked at that website AOL.members. whatever
I figure I'll get a baseline, then have the tech put those numers in and work from there? Is this a good strategy??
Third, should the VTEC crossover be set before or after the fuel is tuned??
whAT ELSE should I look for ask, inform!?!?
