Awesome stuff... very good data for the rest of us. I would love to see a dyno graph of the Stage 2 cams.

pssst: F22B >H23A

i've yet to get it dynoed, i shoulda gone at nopi though. I am just curious to see what an F22B dynos at as no one really knows. I'll get the H23A Stage 1 cams, but then again i dont want it to throw off my top end....

But, damn those are nice numbers. you're making the vtec'ers jealous here keep up the good work!!

modification list:
*home-made CAI - like $40
*magnaflo muffler - $60
*IM heat sheild - $60
*egr block plate - $.50(soda can)
*bypass cold-start valve - same as above
*disconnected the vacuum hose leading to the IAB - free
*13 degree timing (D'OH)
*CROWER stage 1 cams - about $410
*DC header - about $100

so yeah i spent like $730.50 , but im going to invest a pretty penny on the full cat-back exhaust and hondata/safc + tunning

sweetness! I have a header on the way to my door.. how much did that help? did you have it on before the cams? I'm hoping for a noticeable difference!

i installed the camshafts first and then the header. with the cams i felt the 'lude pull to redline, instead of dying after 5500 rpms, but with the header i felt the engine pull harder. but yeah the header did make a difference in my case

explain that one to me, how is an engine roughly the same displacement as an H22 minus VTEC better than an H23a1?

i dont know whats wrong with your h22 or anyone elses who thinks their h23 has more low end, my h22 puts out far more torque and eats up my h23 and any othe h23 badly at any rpm...i think the stronger low end is a fairy tale...kinda like an urban legend...the proof is in dynos, and 1/4 times, hell look at 330 ft marks at the track on the 2 motors, theres a HUGE diff in times...but believe what you want too

^By 330' I sure as hell hope you're in VTEC. I'd love to see a stock H22 dyno vs a stock H23 dyno below VTEC engagement.
