dropping the tranny

i recently blew the motor to my lude i have a h22 in i found and bought another h22 swap and pulled the old one out and we left the tranny in but now dropping the new one in we cant match the tranny to the block. so now were are going to take out the axles and pull the tranny out line them up out side the car and drop them in as one piece so how would i go about taking the tranny out of the car i know i need to remove the axles but how ?????

1. You were able to remove the engine AND leave the transmission inside teh car???

I find that super hard to believe.

2. If you did accomplish this feat, what's so hard about removing a transmission?

3. You can't install the engine + tranny in one piece.

How about you follow the helms procedure and just put in the engine first and THEN install the transmission.

yeah actully i did well myself and a few buddys got it out of the car with out taking the tranny out it wasnt har we unbolted it from in side the car then tilted the side of the engine out and pulled i can send you pictures i need to figure out how to get the new one to line up with the tranny some one was saying an algiment tool but no where has it for me to rent or to buy so i dont know what to do and i dont know how to pull the axles out to get the tranny out to match them out side the car
