Driver mirror is busted, can it still be fixed?

Driving on the back roads there is a very narrow bridge two cars can barely fit and with plowed snow on the side with a very sharp turn. As I was driving through it another car was coming towards me, I was like Oh ****....next thing I hear is a big CLANK...I new I hit something on the incoming car. I stopped look in my mirror to see if the other car stopped and the whole mirror was closed towards the window with the mirror piece hanging out slightly. The other backed up, long storry short her mirror was totally destroyed. The car was full of people driving in the middle of the road going way too fast. Two guys came out telling me a $100 should cover it. I was like Kiss my ass, I want a $100 for my mirror. Since I was alone I don't know how much chance I would have if I called the cops. So I just said Lets call this even and lets get the hell out of here and so we did.

Now to the mirror, It seems like it poped out somehow from the middle. It's still being hold below and on the side, the points where the motors move the mirror up/down and right/left. But in the middle it's not being held by anything. I can see a screw and a spring.

Is this still fixable? I don't want try to remove anything and end up breaking it.

They dont bend int towards the car? My 3rd gen Si has mirrors that fold in towards the car. Maybe its for the northern goers, i wouldnt know though, i live in FL.

Take care.
