Well there's no gauge.....but VTEC engagement depends on oil pressure so there would have to be a sensor.

The reason I asked is because on some Honda cars if the oil pressure drops the computer cuts the power.

Coo...if the oil pressure drops it will defintely cut your VTEC

Yes honda VTEC motor does have an oil sensor... luckily for the h22a motor, it sit right below the oil filter. There's no gauge but there is a light on the dash that will turn on if the pressure drops below the norm level.

All cars I have seen made for a while now all have an oil pressure sensor because they all have an oil light. Some people think that it is there to come on when the oil is low but it only comes on when your oil pressure drops dramatically.
