I was asking this, because I'm thinking of getting a 96 si which means the car is OBD II. If I do a vtec engine swap, will my car still be OBD II, or will it be OBD I if the engine is from an older prelude?

If you have an OBD2 car and get an older ('95 or earlier OBD1) motor, you can run it with your ECU. You will likely have to hack some wiring, or at least use your newer distributor. I believe the crank sensors were moved up there.
The engines differ slightly, but OBD1/OBD2 refers to and is inherent in the ECU. If you just want OBD1, do an ECU swap. If you want OBD2, find a newer engine since they are easier to find and will be less of a headache to swap.
