Does Eibach ProKit require camber kit too?

Will the slight drop of 1.0"/1.2" require an adjustable upper ball joint kit to correct camber?

nothing "requires" a camber kit...its just up to you if you'd like to run the static camber that a particular drop will give you...it never hurts to have a camber kit...

What I meant was, will the normal range to adjust camber run out of adjustment before the car's settings are where they should be (to avoid ruining tires)? I run tires that don't have particularly good life to start with, I can' t afford to have uneven tread wear.

any drop will alter your camber from stock settings...how much of a change, im unsure of...iirc, there is no way to adjust camber unless you have a kit...if you want to preserve tires, tell your alignment shop to set your toe settings are zero front + rear...camber isnt going to cause uneven wear as much as toe....

yup no adjust ment of 4g prelude most cars have some sort of adjustment

1" drop you should be fine i think that it gives a lil under 1 degree of negative camber adjustment specs are 0 +or -1 degree

you should be fine

it is when your 1.5 or more you need to worry.

i have 1.1 front and 1.2 rear and looking at it you cant see any camber

^because we have superior suspensions over macphersons (for the most part) but mac suspensions have camber plates.

I guess we'll find out, I ordered the ProKit yesterday! I have all the parts for a 5 lug conversion, I may try the springs out first by themselves. I'll have toe and camber checked after those go in and watch tire wear. If I'm scrubbing the inside edges I'll install the adjustables when I pull it all back apart for switch to 5 lug. I know a lot of people only switch the spindle on the rears, but if you do that you have a mismatch on the ABS sensors. I bought the entire rear upright, and all four ABS sensors as well (all off the same 5Gen car). I bought four used Mugen MZ3X's, it's hell knowing it will be a long time before I can put them on the car. I'm still debating on tires: 215/40-17 or 215/45-17? I know the 45's would perform better, 7" is their native rim width, but the speedo will read too low with those.

I had a set of Eibach springs mounted back in 93 and then Ground Controls mounted later on and had an alignment done immediately after (done at Honda dealership) and I was told that I didn't need to have the camber kit installed. I purchased one beforehand and left it with them so I had one to install if I needed it. The tech told me that since my alignment was still within the factory specs there was no reason to mount the kit.

I was pretty surprised that the alignment wasn't off after the 2" drop, but I had no abnormal tire wear and long tire life. Unlike some, this tech is very knowledgeable on aftermarket parts and trends. He built up a couple of his own rides and also does installs/mods on the side.
