Do I need to cut out my resistor box to use obd2 saturated injectors?

I bought a h22a type S for my 1993 Prelude Si. I would like to use the Type S injectors....what do i need to do? I read that i had to cut the harness going to the resistor box and solder the wires together....is this correct?
