Do automatics have a separate computer

Do automatics have a separate computer like the only 90-92 accords do? If so where is the computer located?

Automatics are controlled by the ecu.

So for instance on a manual tranny swap you need to change to a manual ecu...

You have to pull off the trim piece in the door threshold and pull out the kick panel by your feet on the passenger side. There are two 10mm bolts holding it in a very easy spot to get to

EDIT: here are some pics

No problem! Don't mind my dust. It is there to strategically balance weight in my car

yes there's a separate computer for auto trannies. Most of the connectors from the AT tranny control unit connects to the solenoids on the tranny where it reads hydraulic pressure and the two alternate speed sensors(in addition to the speed sensor that connects to your speedo gauge).
